The aluminium chromium nitride coating reduces friction and provides excellent wear resistance for increased tool life, whilst the positive geometry results in a smooth cutting action to cut down on work hardening. S722HB milling cutters have a neck recess so the tool avoids contact with the walls when shoulder milling.
